JLGB Leader – Weekly on Thursdays
You will develop leadership and session planning skills, while providing informal education for a group of 7 – 10 year old boys. The weekly activities take place in Newton Mearns Synagogue and you don’t need to be able to come every single Thursday to participate as leaders. On the evenings you will be responsible for helping gather supplies, leading sessions, planning sessions, guiding the groups and more. Signing up interest does not guarantee participation

Maccabi Badminton for People with Disabilities - Weekly on Tuesdays
Athletes with disabilities come to play Badminton on Tuesdays from 7.00 - 8.00PM, many from Cosgrove Care. Often it can be quite busy and they would love to have a few extra volunteers on hand.

Synagogue Youth Services Leader – Monthly on Saturday Mornings
The synagogues are always happy to have young leaders help plan and lead sessions at services. This would involve storytelling of the week’s parsha and then creating a small activity or discussion relating to that for the children to participate in

Summer Scheme Leader – July 2019
You will help lead activities and groups on Maccabi Summer Scheme over the course of five days. If you cannot do the full 5 days you can still be involved for as many days as you are free. There is a leaders pizza night during the week and this is one of the most popular leadership opportunities.
